Living Legacy Campus is a residential drug rehabilitation center in the making. It was founded by a group of people committed to making a difference in the lives of people afflicted with addiction. This group is motivated by having seen the effects of drug abuse on the lives of those addicted, as well as their families & friends.
It is our goal to create a program that integrates Eastern and Western medicine, traditional evidence-based therapies, new approaches, nutrition, exercise, and more. We firmly believe in healing the “whole person”, not just doing a chemical detox. Our philosophy is to include all aspects of the human person in our program: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, relationship restoration, coping skills, life coaching, support network training and more. Our program will consist of phases, which the resident will advance through, achieving goals and becoming more autonomous, while still living in a safe supportive environment.
Living Legacy Campus is in the early stages of development. Articles of Incorporation are filed with the State of Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. We are a nonprofit organization under the U.S. Internal Revenue Service tax code section 501(c)(3). We are registered with the Michigan Department of Attorney General as a nonprofit organization. Our next step is fundraising, which will enable us to hire a consultant, purchase property, equipment, furnishings, and hire staff.
