Carlene Northon
Treasurer

Carlene Northon is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a unique blend of military, corporate, and entrepreneurial experience. After serving 21 years in the US Army Military Police Corps, including tours in Panama and Afghanistan, Carlene retired in 2009 to prioritize family and plant roots for her daughter’s final five years of school. Following her military service, Carlene transitioned to the private sector, working in data processing at Mears Group, Inc. for 8 years. In 2018, she took the bold step of entrepreneurship, founding Central Escapes, which has thrived under her leadership for 6.5 years. Throughout her career, Carlene has developed exceptional skills in:

– Leadership and management
– Operations and logistics
– Data analysis and processing
– Customer service and relations
– Strategic planning and execution

Carlene holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and is a lifetime member of the Military Police Regimental Association. She is also an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce. In her free time, Carlene enjoys going through escape rooms with her family members and watching and rooting for the Detroit Lions with her husband. Under her leadership, Central Escapes has been recognized for outstanding customer service and community involvement.
